Furthermore, it provides access to learning resources on important areas, such as infection control, as well as practical advice to promote mental health. The app instructs workers how to benefit from their offers, such as free parking and discounts from several institutions and initiatives. The tool also allows access to mental health apps, such as Silvercloud, Daylight, and Sleepio, which tackle sleep, stress, and agility.
This app is an extension of the social welfare plan launched recently by the government and comprises a series of actions, including increasing the number of tests and providing access to personal protective equipment for all frontline workers. Moreover, the app works as a networking platform to bring social care workers together in one single space to share knowledge, best practices, and inspiring stories from across the sector.
